CHANDNI RAATIEN REVIEW : The play is based on a family which is trying to keep its traditions alive and leading life according to their rules. The family is headed by Bee Jan (Safia Khairi) who lives with her two sons Aamir (Javed Sheikh) and Asim (Humayun Saeed). Aamir has been married to Abginey (Faryal Gohar) for eight years and is still childless. Bee Jan decides to get him remarried Abginey reluctantly agrees as she has no other choice. Aamir is shown to be very submissive and is unable to stand up for Abginey and hence is married off to Maha (Mahnoor Baloch). The moment Maha enters the house, Bee Jan's hold starts slipping because Maha is rude and doesn't give a damn about Bee Jan and her traditional values. Maha also proceeds to go about making life hell for Abginey who bears it all with a smile, much to the vexation of Asim who is the only one in the house who really cares for Abginey's feelings. When Maha becomes pregnant, Abginey's position becomes even more down trodden. Also it is revealed that Maha was already married once and has a son Jaazib from the marriage who lives in a hostel PLEASE NOTE : Review was taken from http://ptv2.cjb.net
