He has been in the US since five years and has a mother and fiancée Hina (Sadia Imam) waiting for him in Karachi. Since he does not have a green card, he cannot return home(?). The only solution he has is to marry an American citizen. And so he ditches the love of his life and marries Alley, his class fellow. Next we have Ali Hasan (Haider Sultan), who comes from Pakistan to study and is befriended by Sohail, with whom he shares an apartment. Studying with him is Afshan (Iman Ali), a US born Pakistani. While Ali and Afshan are not on good terms with each other, they become best friends via internet (remember ‘You’ve Got Mail’). Afshan’s father (Mazhar Ali) is a very rich and successful business man, who is envied by a small time fraud business man Dawar, who wants to take over his business while his son Jezzy wants to marry Afshan. They have already won over Afshan’s mom, who is a materialistic social butterfly but will they succeed in their evil plans?
