Starring: Zeba Bakhtiar, Shakeel, Farhan Ali Agha, and Shahood Alvi Directed by Najam-uz-Zaman Written by Rafaqat Hayat Released: Early 2002 The story is of a crippled girl, Sofia (Zeba Bakhtiar), who is very headstrong and stubborn. Jamshed Mirza (Shahood Alvi) is a marketing executive in a firm, where he meets Sofia through her doctor and his friend, Shoaib. One day Jamshed catches sight of Sofia's cousin, Komal (Natasha), is instantly smitten by her and immediately tries to find out more about her situation. After making inquiries, Jamshed finds out that she is staying with Sofia. Since Jamshed already knows Sofia's father (Shakeel), he starts paying him more visits in the hopes of meeting Komal. As to be expected, an unfortunate misunderstanding takes place and Komal gives Jamshed a cold shoulder while Sofia thinks that he actually likes her, not realizing that Jamshed 's heart is set on Komal. Eventually, Sofia finds out that Jamshed does not like her and throws a tantrum, cursing and abusing Komal, ordering her to leave the house. Angry as she is, Komal leaves the house without saying a word, leaving only a note to her uncle. Jamshed desperately tries to find out where Komal has gone, but remains unsuccessful. As time goes by, Dr. Shoaib and Rashid Zafar manage to persuade Jamshed to marry Sofia, which he eventually does. However, Sofia's jealousy consumes her and she is not able to forget the past, making the marriage almost impossible. From here on, the story takes a new turn.
