The story is captivating and keeps the viewer hooked. Currently it is one the best play on dvd and should not to be missed. - This is a story based on life and revolves around three women and their experiences in life. First we have a famous tv artist Nigar (Saba Hameed), who works to support her younger brother and sister and lives all alone and really values her independence. Then one day she acquires an admirer who showers her with affection and attention and lays flowers in her path. They meet and in him, Shuja (Jamal Shah), she sees a perfect man who is handsome, considerate, caring and some one who knows how to treat women. Then we have Areeba (Sadaf Ibrahim), who had gone abroad to study and ended up marrying there. She returns home after five years, scared, shattered, in a wheelchair and unable to speak. Her mother (Badar Khalil) and brother Ahmer (Adnan Siddiqui) are shocked to see her and set about to rebuild her confidence and bring her back to life. Helping them in this process is Saima (Rubeena Ashraf) who happens to be Areeba's best friend. Saima also enrolls the help of all their other close friends, especially Nadeem (Ibrahim Khalil) who had been in love with Areeba for a long time. Nadeem lives with another artist Basit (Khalid Ahmed) who despite being his senior is his good friend. Basit is a wonderful artist and all he ever does is make stekches of Munazza (Vaneeza Ahmed). Munazza is a famous model and Basit's class fellow and the two were best friends. Then Munazza gets married to someone whom no one knows about and only Basit has seen that person. Munazza's husband is unable to stand Munazza's friendship with Basit. Finally we have Saman Rahim (Vaneeza Ahmed) who has come to Pakistan from America to make a drama serial and every one is shocked to see her as she happens to be Munazza's look alike. She joins Ahmer's agency for technical facilities and through him gets to know Areeba and plans to help her out. She has a very powerful script on which she is working on and takes in Nigar and Tanveer Jamal as her lead cast and begins to work. Her play revolves around a girl who finds her perfect man Adam and marries him only to find that he is not that perfect. Saman is a mystery in herself. Is she simply Munazza's look alike (mere conincidence) or is she really Munazza? A definite watch The four ladies Saba, Vaneeza, Sadaf, and Robina sparkle under M. Ahmed's deft script and Robina's almost flawless direction! Ms. Ashraf can be proud to add her name to the list of formidable women directors that our country has produced in recent years, namely: Mahnoor Baloch, Mahreen Jabbar, and Marina Khan. From Robina's introduction to the very last episode, the play holds your attention and never lets you go! Thanks Robina and Mr. Ahmed for writing about human beings and their relationships. Thanks for giving us such concrete characters and such a fabulous script! If you loved AZBH then this play should definitely be on your list to watch! Review by http://ptv2.cjb.net
