Titliyan's story revolves around Shabir Sahib, a retired government employee and his five 
daughters, who are working in an airline as airhostess. According to the director "Titliyan 
is a family oriented drama that focuses on real family problems of Pakistani society. It 
specially sheds light on the complications of working women." 

The mother pretty much runs the whole house and wants every one of her daughters to be an 
airhostess. Eventhough she knows that some of her daughters don't want to be airhostesses but rather study further in an other field, she forces them to join the airline and ends every 
argument by saying that she only wants the best for her daughters. She is shown as a bit of
 a greedy penny pincher who is at peace with her daughters bringing home the moolah so she can live a lavish life style.
